Avery has two types of custom tamper-evident labels: Avery Security and NoPeel™ Tamper-proof labels. Avery Security labels have clear perforation lines so you can clearly see if any tampering has taken place. Avery's NoPeel™ Tamper-proof labels stick permanently and won't peel off. The material flakes and disintegrates if anyone tries to remove the label.

Labelling jar lids is a breeze. You can use circular labels that fit the lid size. Print your design or write on them, then stick them directly onto the lid. Make sure your label material is durable enough to handle being opened and closed a lot.
The cost of custom labels depends on the size, material, quantity, and whether you want any special printing techniques. It could be anything from a few cents or cheaper per label to much more for high-end finishes.
The answer to this question depends on your needs. If you're printing in low volumes and have a good quality printer, DIY can be cost-effective. But for larger quantities or if you want professional labels, it's more economical to order them from a printing service like Avery.
